Pepper was built next to Skinny Legs in 1998
(same year FlyAway Charters was born by original owner Kurt, and the same year Colin moved to STJ) and has had quite an amazing journey.

It has been chartered previously by a few great couples: Kevin and Lisa (original builders); Fred and Renee (who rocked Pepper out of Maho for years); Kim and Lance; Rob and Michelle (current owners who saved her from a post Irma watery death).

Desiring to have her back in STJ waters, we’ve been called on to now manage her in our fleet.  While you may remember us as having only powerboats for the past 5 years, we previously lived on and sailed our classic wooden 1938 gaff rigged tahiti ketch Buxom (which Colin had fully gutted/restored).

We are so thrilled to have Pepper in the fleet and a classic wooden boat under our care again that was built on St. John.
