Captain Anna

Captain Anna’s sailing experience and her St. John story actually (incredibly) begins with over very own CAPTAIN DOUG aboard his beautiful sailboat Runaway.  Doug taught Anna how to sail on her trip to St. John as well as many sailing adventures down island to Grenada (and every island in between).

After they returned, it was time for them to part ways (they remain incredibly close friends today, with kids close to the same age living in Coral Harbor.)  Anna seized the opportunity and bought her own boat (a 28’ Columbia) named Dulcinea (her sweetheart).   She went on to meet her soulmate and now husband, Steve (her “back bone”). They have two beautiful children, Zack and Lilith.  Her family lives aboard their sloop Gypsea Sol and share her deep love of the sea, St. John and sailing.  Captain Anna first set sights on the Caribbean seas 22 years ago and loves to share them with her FlyAway guests.
