What to know...

Do you provide trips to Lime Out?

Absolutely! All of our trips go to Lime Out! While we have a popular two hour option, we also offer half days and full days which include snorkeling, sightseeing and more+ Lime Out. The snorkeling on the East End is absolutely superb and not to be missed, so we highly recommend considering one of those options. We’ve been on the water here for more than 24 years, so we know where all the good spots are and love to share our passion for the ocean with our guests!

If we go to Lime Out, will we get wet?

If you would like to sit at Lime Out please be prepared to swim and get wet.

Do you provide snorkel gear?

We have a lot of great name brand gear aboard but we always recommend going to get fitted for gear from a rental spot, then you know you have a good fit. Some places to rent are: Coral Bay Adventures (where you can also find our MERCH!), Busy Bee Watersports, then in Cruz Bay, Just Beach in Mongoose Junction and Beach Bum in Wharfside.

Do you do scuba diving?

While we do not provide scuba charters, our dear friends at Busy Bee Charters do! They are also out of Coral Bay and can take you scuba diving to some beautiful locations! Not certified yet? They can take care of that too! Check them out: Low Key Water Sports

What should we bring aboard?

Towels, environmentally friendly sunscreen (no aerosol sunscreen please), cameras and extra T-shirts are essential but you can also bring special drinks and snacks. Rash guards or UV protection shirts are recommended.

What will be provided?

We will have an ice chest with water and ice, please feel free to bring along any drinks or snacks. Snorkel gear, defog.

What is the legal drinking age?

18 years old. Note: While an 18 year old on island can buy, order, drink alcohol they can not transport bottles of alcohol back to the US with them.

Where will we go?

That’s the beauty of it – so many of the spots we will take you don’t even have names. But two things for us are key – to listen to you about what is important to you about what you’d like to see/do and also take you to remote, off the beaten path, hard to reach absolute TREASURES of the Virgin Islands.

We just went out today with Flyaway with Captain Holly and her friend Tyler. These two were FANTASTIC, and exceeded our expectations. The weather conditions weren't entirely ideal but Holly knows her stuff. Holly took us to three different snorkel spots that were PERFECT for today's conditions. Our stop at Lime Out was great too!! Leah, thank you for snagging Holly for us today. I'm sure you have a bunch of amazing captains, but we very much enjoyed all that Captain Holly offered today.

I just returned from a 2 week trip on St. John and I cannot recommend Flyaway Charters enough! We did their Flyout to Lime out trip twice. It was perfect. We had different Captains each time and both of them were amazing. Told us about the island and answered any questions we had. I did their half day snorkel trip a little over a year ago and we had a fabulous time, this is why I booked with them again this trip. We had an amazing day with Captain Glenn. The 4 of us managed to get 5 snorkels in that were each amazing and different in their own way! We even managed to down a few painkillers too! Captain Glenn is very knowledgeable about St. John and tbe surrounding water and first hand he knew where to take us to some awesome snorkeling sights. We can't thank him and Flyaway Charters enough for this private tour. We would not have been able to get to these places without a boat.

Capt Colin was amazing! He was able to get us to locations to snorkel during some very windy conditions ! He made sure my wife who is hearing impaired was comfortable with all of the snorkel spots.
