Scuppers the Shark Dog

Scuppers the Shark Dog is a 5 year old coconut retriever hailing from the STT Humane Society. She lived on two sailboats with Colin and Leah for 4 years and has more sea time than a lot of captains do between her crew hours and recreational sea time. She loves the water, boat rides and when she crews she takes her job very seriously. When the boat slows down, she is on anchor duty. When snorkelers disembark or get back on the boat she will be at attention to make sure everyone is safe. She also helps with the stern line when coming into the dock and has snuggles for guests who are nervous or seasick. Scuppers does not go on every charter – so rest assured if you are not a dog type of person – no worries. She has to be requested and even then, she may not be able to attend that day. We had an amazing day with Captain Glenn. The 4 of us managed to get 5 snorkels in that were each amazing and different in their own way! We even managed to down a few painkillers too! Captain Glenn is very knowledgeable about St. John and tbe surrounding water and first hand he knew where to take us to some awesome snorkeling sights.
